it's the combination of the official logo (found on http://www.theoceanproject.org/wod/wod_resources.php) with some modifications ...

...and the DHS logo, and the '09 there.

Yep. UNLESS, you strongly oppose to it then it shall be our official logo :)

and that means you have to put it in the Newsletter, posters, blablabla....
